Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

Best earrings ever!

My 7yo had her ears pierced at a wonderful, reputable place. Unfortunately, she has a pretty severe metal allergy we did not know about. These earrings are the only pair that have promoted healing. Before this, we were ready to give up and take the old earrings out for her safety. We are so happy to have found these! They are also really beautifully made. The stone is such a lovely deep purple too.

We love tini lux earrings and when I saw the birthstones I ordered them for all my girls for Valentine’s Day. I missed the note in the description that they do not look like the picture posted as they are now set in a 4 prong setting…and it is true, they look nothing like picture. Very disappointed. The online picture looks classy and beautiful and the ones I received do not. I gave a 5 star because we do love this company and their earrings but I want others to know they are not what they appear to be.
