You're in the right place.
We make earrings that won't hurt your ears.
"All Earrings Hurt My Ears"
surgical steel earrings,
nickel free earrings,
...you've probably tried them all and nothing worked.
Every pair of earrings you wear causes itching, irritation, soreness, redness, swelling, and even bleeding.
You don't just have sensitive ears, you have a metal allergy.
Most metals are not compatible with the human body. Over time and regular contact with reactive metals, your body develops an allergy to these metals which results in a painful reaction when they are present.
Most hypoallergenic earrings and nickel free earrings are made with a mixture of multiple metals, any of which could be highly reactive with the human body. Plus, these terms are unregulated and mostly meaningless.
Look for earrings made with pure metals that are compatible with the human body. Pure titanium and niobium, or 24k gold or platinum are metals that are considered to be "biocompatible," meaning the human body will not react or develop allergies to them.
Are You Ready to Wear Earrings Again?
No more compromising style for comfort or vice versa.
We make our earrings with pure titanium and niobium - metals so safe that they are used for medical implants.
PERFECT FOR MY SENSITIVE EARS
"I have a lot of allergies, and an autoimmune condition where my body mistakes itself as an invader, so my ears were never comfortable with “normal” earrings. I put these hoops in two weeks ago, and have been able to keep them in ever since. No pain, no burning, no itch or redness. Half of the time I don’t even remember they are in. Thank you for creating these!"

Back in 2017, after years of not wearing earrings, our founder set out to find a pair that wouldn't irritate her ears. She was frustrated to find that even deep into Google she couldn't find anything that would work. At that point, she decided to take matters into her own hands to create earrings that were not just pretty but also comfortable. From there, Tini Lux was born.
