Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

These WERE the perfect earrings

I first ordered these earrings a year ago after starting to have major irritation with all of my other earrings. They were perfect, absolutely no irritation and a style that I could wear basically every day. Unfortunately last month my son knocked into me while I was wearing them and somehow caused the post to detach from the earring. When I re ordered them, I was dismayed to find they seem to have been affected by #shrinkflation. The new ones are noticeably smaller, and where before the opal took up the entire fill, now there's a weird extra ring of gold around the edge. These are still the best titanium earrings I could find, but the $65 tag is harder to justify now.

I am 33 and haven’t worn earrings or necklaces in years because my skin instantly turns red and itchy. I don’t like spending a ton of money on expensive jewelry because I don’t wear it daily. I bought the silver pair of these earrings as a trial to see how my skin would tolerate it, and so far after wearing them for two days (and sleeping in them) I haven’t had any issues. They’re perfect as a simple accessory for any outfit- they work for formal outfits or can be used for daily wear with casual outfits. They are so comfortable and I’m getting tons of compliments on them!

The earrings are cute and don’t irritate my ears at all for daily wear. The only downsides are the backs are almost impossible to get off and they hurt the back of my ear when I lay on them. These would’ve been perfect had they been flat back.

Beautiful and comfortable

I have struggled with earrings because of metal sensitivities. I was referred to this company because I love earrings but the discomfort was brutal. Recently had my piercings reopened, and purchased these earrings because opal is my birthstone. Beautiful, but even more important, my ears don’t burn, itch, turn red, or swell. Very happy.
