Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

Intimidated but was easy!

I was nervous to try this style of back, so I read the helpful tips and put these flat back studs in after I showered and it was easy peasy! This is my first time wearing this thicker style of post so my ear holes are a little tender as I think they are adjusting to the larger post size but looking forward to these simple studs for everyday and when I lay down it’s not irritating like it is when you don’t have a flat back type earring.

This review is purely from a sensitivite ear standpoint. The jewelry is beautiful and I was skeptical at first. I tried all the brands claiming sensitive friendly. This one is the real deal. For context I am incredibly allergic to nickel and sadly even solid gold :( I’m talking VERY allergic and recovery took forever if I put something problematic in my ears
Anyway these are worth a try. The fact they have some on Amazon make for a risk free purchase as well

Great for upper helix

I was looking for a better upper helix stud that I can change easily and not take frustrating hours to do so. This was it. I have a really easy time getting it on and off, but also feels secure in my piercing. Plus the black/gold color combination is beautiful. No issue with post length or thickness of the gauge. Fits great in my piercing, and I sleep in this. Easy to clean. I have this for a few months now and no issues at all.
