I got these studs to wear as an adult because some of the other styles were sold out. I think the post size is great for adult ears, but will also sometimes use a rubber back for earrings which are also very secure and comfortable. The prong length has never been an issue for me since I think it's more protective of the pearl piece if it's bumped or jostled.

Good but the posts are very long and stick out a lot.

The earrings themselves are pretty and the screw back is secure. Prong length is advertised as 6mm, but when I measured it came out to be 10mm. They look like they’d almost be too long for an adult. The earrings hang down from her ears. Every time we go out I get asked if her earrings are falling out. Will probably switch them out and keep them for myself.

I was very excited about these earrings - I was looking for something that I could wear 24/7 that would have a professional, classic look after I haven't worn earrings for almost 3 years because of a metal allergy. I ordered the original version of the Charlotte studs (just a pearl attached to a metal post). I had to wait almost 3 weeks for them to finally come because of a restocking issue and when they finally arrived the earrings looked nothing like what I had purchased. The pearl is encased in a metal setting with four metal prongs sticking out around it and is not what I ordered. I reached out to customer service and was told that the style was updated, but there was zero mention of a new style on the website when I ordered them. I asked if the restocking fee could be waived for my return since I received different earrings than what I ordered and never got an answer. I emailed customer service again asking the same question and again never heard anything. I am returning these very disappointed that there was no mention of the style update when I ordered them, the length of time it took for me to receive them, and the poor customer service.

So far so good. I haven’t taken them off other than when I went to the beach. No irritation or major itchiness. I’ve had small real pearl earrings before but the pearl fell off after 3 months, repaired them and then fell off after a year. So I will have to wait to see if Tini Lux is still intact after 3 months/ 1 year. But so far so good! :)
