Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

Setting too deep in new style

I have an older version of the mini Celeste studs (prior to the four prong setting). I wanted to try the larger size and was fine (in theory) with the new four prong setting update. However, the setting is so deep that the studs are set so far off my ear. They look like cheap costume jewelry. Very disappointed with how deep the setting is and there is no way I will wear them. Please return to the original style, or at very least, do not make the four prong setting so deep.

Posts too long, setting too deep

Purchased these with hope that they would be daily 24/7 earrings. Unfortunately, the post is so long that I can't sleep in them, which is a problem I have never had with earrings before. I also don't love how thick/chunky the setting is, but would have kept them if they weren't too painful to tolerate. Also bummed about the $10 restocking fee even though I initiated my return with 72 hours for a legit reason (I literally cannot tolerate wearing them). Will definitely not purchase at tinilux again.
