Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

I'm so happy I finally tried tinilux. These are some of the only earrings I can wear that don't make my ears turn red and become super painful. Yay!! Also, these studs are beautiful. They're not too big or small, they go with anything, the shape is just a little different and special. Highly recommend!

I can wear earrings again!

I’m so happy I took the jump and ordered a pair of Tini Lux earrings! I haven’t worn earrings in 10 years because every pair I’d try would make my ears turn red, itchy, swollen and crusty. I used to wear dangly earrings all the time, not noting what metal they were. But after not wearing earrings after having a bebe, my ears couldn't deal with the old earrings, and just hurt whenever I tried them on. My sister-in-law told me about Tini Lux and I finally tried a pair of studs. When one felt a little jiggly, I had such great customer service to get a replacement pair right away!
